WECAN AT LONDON CLIMATE ACTION WEEK 2026

JD Suggestion.png

WECAN will be participating in London Climate Action Week from June 20-28, 2026 to uplift women- and community-led strategies and solutions for a Just Transition and fossil fuel phaseout, and to provide feminist and climate justice analyses on the path to COP31.

As part of our advocacy, WECAN will be co-hosting and engaging in many events and strategy sessions. We will present on-the-ground climate justice projects from food sovereignty to reforestation, share reports and policy briefs for building a Just Transition, and uplift frameworks and strategies for systemic change, including climate justice, Indigenous rights, real zero, care economies, Rights of Nature, and democratized and localized renewable energy.

London Climate Action Week brings together leaders from across sectors to accelerate climate action and shape pathways toward a resilient future. As conversations build toward COP31, this moment presents an important opportunity to amplify  the voices, strategies, and solutions that are already creating meaningful change on the ground while challenging the systems driving the climate crisis.

We invite you to join us in London and online as we come together with partners, policymakers, movement leaders, and community advocates to advance a future beyond fossil fuels and toward thriving, resilient communities for all. Please follow WECAN on social media for announcements and advocacy during London Climate Action Week. Events and more are listed down below!
