Women for Climate Justice Leading Solutions on the Frontlines of the Climate Crisis

Baku, Azerbaijan —  On Tuesday, November 19, Indigenous, Black and frontline women, and global advocates will present climate justice strategies and solutions during a formal UN side event organized by the Women’s Earth and Climate Action Network (WECAN) at COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan.


Panelists will discuss several topics, including forest protection and restoration, Indigenous rights, agroecology, fossil fuel phase-out and divestment, and protection of women land defenders.
